Rising Toronto emcee Daniel Son delivers an electric performance on “WeeBey,” the grimy new single off producer/turntablist Kut One’s forthcoming compilation LP, 'Live Wires.'

For those unfamiliar, the track’s title is a reference to a popular character from HBO’s critically lauded series, 'The Wire.' And much like the show itself, the track is abound with criminal behavior, harrowing imagery, and top tier writing. Daniel Son remains at the top of his game lyrically as he spits snarling bars aimed at his enemies.

Those rhymes become that much more potent when paired with Kut One’s equally filthy production. We mentioned it when talking about his previous single, “Which One’s First?,” and it remains true here as he continues to showcase his penchant for crafting horror-leaning bangers that melds raw instrumentation with hard drums.
